Glitch in mail sent TO feedblitz.com 9/13/2005 midnight to 11:00 AM eastern
Well, I'm not superstitious but due to a problem at FeedBlitz we were unable to process any email sent to us this morning. The feed mails went out OK, we just did not receive any emails sent to me or to support for the last 12 hours. If you sent an email to FeedBlitz this morning, I apologize for they hassle, but please resend it.

I use the FeedBlitz service on my blog. I am quite happy with the service I am getting. I do have a number of feature requests but that will be the topic of a comment or blog post some other day.
There is 1 thing about the FeedBlitz interface that I would like to see removed.
Take for example the Login URL. It is:
http://www.feedblitz.com/feedblitz.exe
Since it ends with '.exe' a large number of webproxies block it because they think that a .exe file is being downloaded.
Could you please do away with the .exe endings in the URLs?

The "exe" extension also casues problems with some (IMHO poorly written) download managers. It will be changed in the future, but when the change takes place we'll keep the .exe version around for backwards compatibility with existing subscriber forms.
